SUPREME BEEF CHAMPION

The Supreme Champion, sponsored by The Nare Hotel, Veryanwas won by Ross and Clare Withers of Probus with their Limousin cross heifer “Tequilla” weighing 502 kgs and purchased at the show auction by Kendle Bray of Carnon Downs Butchery near Truro for £5.60p/kg.  This purchase marked Mr Bray’s 25th year buying at the show.  This price was up from £4.40p/kg for the Supreme Champion last year.

This heifer also won the Local Champion sponsored by Foot Anstey Solicitors.

RESERVE CHAMPION

The Reserve Champion, sponsored by Barclays Bank plc was won by L Pidsley of Honiton with a Limousin cross steer “Jackpot” weighing 716 kgs and purchased at the show auction by Chris Dale of Helston for £3.90p/kg.

RESERVE LOCAL CHAMPION

The Reserve Local Champion, sponsored by Robert Trevarthen, Wholesale Meats, Penryn was won by Ross and Clare Withers of Probus with their Limousin cross heifer “Candy Crush” weighing 552kgs and purchased at the show auction by RJ Trevarthen  for £4.10p/kg.
